Program Profile
The B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering programme offers a five-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree structured over ten semesters. Students study core areas including architectural design, building construction, structural systems, environmental control, building materials, architectural history and theory, and digital design technologies. The curriculum integrates strong theoretical foundations with studio-based learning, laboratory work, and practical training. Design studios, technical projects, and applied coursework develop students' creativity, problem-solving abilities, and professional skills, preparing them for careers in architectural practice or advanced academic studies.
Occupational profiles of graduates
Graduates of the Architectural Engineering Programme are qualified to work in diverse professional roles within the public and private sectors. They may serve as architectural designers, building design consultants, and project architects, contributing to the planning, design, and development of residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings. Graduates can also work as site architects, construction and project coordinators, interior and landscape designers, or Building Information Modeling (BIM) specialists, ensuring that projects meet functional, aesthetic, technical, and sustainability requirements. In addition, opportunities exist in architectural consultancy firms, urban planning and development agencies, government organizations, research institutions, and academic careers through postgraduate studies.
