Title of the Seminar: Free Overfall for Discharge Measurement in Channels of Different Shapes: A Review.

Presenter: Prof. Dr. Bahzad Mohammad Ali Noori.

Objectives: To review the previous studies on the use of free overfall for discharge measurement in channels of rectangular, trapezoidal, circular and triangular shapes. The correlations of end depth ratio (EDR) and end depth discharge (EDD) are presented for channels of different shapes for subcritical and supercritical states of flow.
