An international workshop will be held under the title: "Traditional Construction Techniques and Crafts for Ecosystem Innovations and Adaptive Reuse of Vernacular Architicture” during the period 6th - 17th of March, 2022. At the University of Duhok.

Place of the event : University of Duhok/ Culture Center and site visiting to Akre and Amedy city

Justification: Kurdistan region is rich of its heritage but there is lack of technical experience how to protect those sities mainly historical stone buildings.

Objectives: Building the capacity of (12) government related staff and (3) from College of Engineering/ University of Duhok on Development of Conservation plan of Historic Buildings
