Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department, College of Engineering, University of Duhok, Iraq. General coordinator of quality assurance in the College of Engineering and preparing accreditation reports (2011-2014). Contributed to the establishment of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2015, then in 2018, held the position as head of the department.

Publishing research papers in the main interest, like combustion operations, heat transfer, renewable energies, and fluid flow. Chairing and membership of the M.Sc. and Ph.D. dissertation discussion committees. Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students. Also, the implementation of the combustion operation lab (2000) and the refrigeration and air conditioning lab (2006) for postgraduate studies at the University of Technology-Baghdad-Iraq and the heat transfer lab at the University of Duhok (2019) are the main achievements. Looking forward to developing the department's laboratories for suiting research in the field of clean and renewable energies.
