Objectives or Summary:
This seminar aims to present an efficient approach for lane line detection by leveraging
advanced preprocessing techniques. The methodology involves applying grayscale
conversion and Region of Interest (ROI) masking to enhance relevant features, followed
by noise reduction and edge detection using Gaussian blurring and the Canny edge
detector. Subsequently, the Hough Transform is employed to detect lane boundaries with
improved accuracy.
Furthermore, to optimize the computational efficiency of the detection process, key lane
points will be extracted using regression-based prediction techniques. The implementation
of parallel processing will be explored to accelerate computation, making real-time lane
detection more feasible. This seminar will provide an in-depth analysis of each stage,
highlighting the impact of preprocessing on detection accuracy and performance
optimization.
