Objectives or Summary:
The decarbonisation of power generation requires reliable, flexible, but
also climate-neutral, power plants to supplement the fluctuating
generation from wind and sun. In the future, most of the electrical energy
required to power the port's operations will be generated on demand on
site using hydrogen. High-performance electrolyzers produce green
hydrogen, which can be used as fuel both for fuel cells and combustion
engines and further processed into synthetic fuels.
