Category 1: Admissions & Prerequisites

  1. What is the minimum GPA required for the Master’s or PhD programs?

We generally look for a cumulative GPA of at least $3.7/4.0$ in your undergraduate studies. However, the admissions committee adopts a holistic view; significant field experience or a patent filing can often offset a slightly lower academic score.

  1. I have a background in Physics, not Engineering. Am I still eligible?

Absolutely. We value "transdisciplinary" thinkers. If your degree is in a related hard science, you may be admitted under a Provisional Status, requiring you to complete three foundational "Bridge Courses" in systems design and material mechanics during your first semester.

  1. Is the GRE still a requirement for the 2026-2027 cycle?

No. ACE has phased out standard GRE scores in favor of our proprietary Engineering Aptitude Simulation (EAS). This is a 2-hour virtual assessment that tests your real-time problem-solving skills rather than rote memorization.
