What is Biomedical Engineering

Biomedical engineering is a discipline that applies engineering principles and techniques to solve problems in the field of medicine and healthcare. It involves the integration of engineering concepts, biological sciences, and clinical practices to design, develop, and evaluate medical devices, systems, and technologies.

Biomedical engineering enhances healthcare through innovations in diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. It encompasses advanced technologies like prosthetics, medical imaging, artificial organs, drug delivery, biomaterials, and tissue engineering.

Tuition fees

The student has to pay $ 3500 annually (the study in this department is four years), which also includes the coverage of the travel, visa, and living expenses during their study in Germany.

Eligibility

  • Minimum 12th-grade average: 80%.
  • Physics and Math grades: at least 70%.
